01 Emergency hotline

It is necessary to know the medical emergency hotline 120, and in case of accidents, contact the local medical emergency department in a timely manner.

02 Travel with medicine

External medications: cooling oil, wind oil essence, and topical mosquito repellent, band aids.

Oral medicine: meperidine (for preventing carsickness), berberine or norfloxacin (for diarrhea caused by intestinal infection), belladonna tablets (for abdominal pain), huoxiang zhengqi capsules (for heat, cold), sismin or chlorphenamine (for all kinds of allergies). In addition, patients with heart disease, diabetes, hypertension should carry usual medicine and emergency medicine.

03 Food poisoning

Patients who develop symptoms within 1 hour of consuming unclean food can be induced to vomit and detoxify: first drink water and then use your fingers to pick your throat to induce vomiting and expel stomach contents, repeating this process repeatedly; Avoid eating difficult to digest foods and drink plenty of water, preferably sugar and salt water. When the symptoms are severe, call 120 in a timely manner.

04 Snakebite

After snake bite, the wound has tooth marks accompanied by redness, swelling, and severe pain. The injured person sweats, has blurred vision, difficulty breathing, nausea and vomiting, and in severe cases, loses consciousness and stops breathing.

Emergency measures: Quickly ligate the wound near the heart with an elastic strip to prevent toxins from entering the bloodstream; Rinse the wound with clean water and apply ice cubes to the wound; You can pull out a cupper on the wound or use a breast pump to suck out the venom; Take the patient to the hospital as soon as possible.

05 motion sickness

Oral motion sickness medication can be taken in advance; Try not to travel on an empty stomach and eat some food first. If you experience motion sickness or seasickness, try to look as far away as possible; Continuously take deep breaths with the mouth open; Pinch the Neiguan and Hegu acupoints with your hands.


06 Sunheat stroke

The patient should be quickly moved to a cool place and avoid direct sunlight; Strengthen ventilation and reduce temperature. Cold compress, water bath, and giving the patient cold diluted saline solution.

07 Trauma bleeding

1) Apply pressure and bandage the bleeding wound to stop bleeding, and tightly wrap the wound with a handkerchief or other object;

2) For large artery bleeding in the head and limbs, if there is no fracture, finger pressure should be used immediately: quickly press down on the bleeding area with your fingers, or directly compress the blood supply artery of the bleeding area. This is the first emergency measure taken for patients with large bleeding; For limb bleeding, a tourniquet can also be used to stop the bleeding.

08 unconscious

In addition to calling 120, the main treatment measures for unconscious patients are to keep their respiratory tract unobstructed and prevent suffocation. The method is to let the patient lie in a stable lateral position, which can prevent respiratory obstruction and gastric contents from flowing into the trachea. In addition, if the patient experiences cardiac arrest, immediate and continuous artificial respiration and cardiac compressions should be performed.

09 Poisonous insect bite

Poisonous insects include bees, centipedes, scorpions, and venomous spiders. After being bitten, the local area becomes red, swollen, and painful, but most of them are not life-threatening.

The treatment method is to first tie a tourniquet near the heart of the wound, then use tweezers to remove the venomous needle, suck out the venom, and then release the tourniquet; The wound can be chilled and treated with soapy water or ammonia solution to alleviate pain.

Attention: A small number of people may experience severe allergic reactions after being bitten by poisonous insects, such as skin redness and erythema, facial and eyelid swelling, difficulty breathing, etc. They should immediately take oral anti allergic drugs and be sent to the hospital for rescue.

10 signals for distress
